Waiter / Waitress Required – Nuthurst Grange Hotel

Nuthurst Grange Hotel is currently recruiting full-time and part-time Waiters and Waitresses to join our professional hospitality team.

Live-in accommodation may be available for suitable candidates.

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals with previous experience in fine dining, weddings, or events hospitality. Candidates should be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a luxury hotel environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
Hard-working and reliable

A strong team player with excellent communication skills

Previous experience within a hotel or restaurant environment is essential, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred.

Main Responsibilities
Welcoming guests in a warm and professional manner
Presenting menus and explaining daily specials
Taking food and drink orders accurately
Serving food and beverages efficiently
Assisting guests with dietary requirements and allergen information
Preparing bills and processing payments
Maintaining excellent cleanliness and presentation standards
Supporting the wider restaurant and events team where required
Setting and resetting tables for service
Ensuring guests receive exceptional service throughout their visit

Skills & Experience
Previous hospitality experience essential
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Attention to detail

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with previous hotel reception experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest service within a luxury country house hotel environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, a warm and welcoming manner, and the ability to work confidently within a busy hospitality setting. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes early and late shifts, weekends, bank holidays, and Christmas working.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Be computer literate and confident using booking systems

This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and guest care within a luxury country house hotel environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be hard-working, reliable, and well-presented
  • Have excellent attention to detail
